Elz Cherry, born Elizabeth Cheruvathur, is a 20-year-old singing sensation from Bangalore, India. From a young age, Elz has captivated audiences with her soulful voice and natural musicality. A former student of St. Francis ICSE, Koramangala, and Christ Academy, her journey is a testimony to talent, hard work, and an enduring love for music.
Musical Journey
Elz began singing as a toddler, earning her first accolade for English singing in nursery school and has since maintained a winning streak in school-level competitions right up to the 12th grade.
Her formal music education includes:
6 years of Hindustani classical music training at Imam Kalyan Hindustani Music School, Bannerghatta campus
Additional training in Western music and Karnatic music
By age 9, she gave her first stage performance at a Karnatic music school event in Begur, Bangalore.
She led choirs, school bands, and performed across numerous cultural fests throughout her school years.
